Dallas 13 y.o. Paint Mare Rescued February 2006 Suffers from navicular and arthritis. She is always lame and sore. So now she is a pretty pasture pet!
Lovey 4 y.o. Welsh Pony Cross Suffered from a club foot and large sarcoid tumor. Seized by a local Sherriffs dept from owner neglect and brought here for rehab. Surgery has removed the tumor and corrected the club foot as best it could be. It is still not normal but at least it is functional and she can walk on it properly. Lovey will always be just a pasture pet and never rideable. She is available for adoption and ready to go now! Second Chance Rescue is always looking for donations to help pay down the vet bills on Lovey's surgery (which was over $1000!)
